Harding House Brewing Co. – Farm Hands

This brew is a special collaboration with the Tennessee Local Food Summit. Farm Hands features 100% TN-grown grain from Teeter Farm & Seed, including the new Sunset Wheat Malt. We then added over 100lbs of TN roasted sweet potatoes grown by Caney Fork Farms in Carthage, TN. The base of this brew is inspired by the classic English Mild, a pub-style ale.

Expect an easy-drinking pub ale with notes of freshly roasted sweet potato on the nose,

Mainstays Made With Riverbend Cumberland Pilsner

Using 2-Row barley sourced directly from Tennessee, we developed Cumberland Pilsner as part of our custom craft malt program. After numerous tweaks and trials, we were able to create a blend of sweet aromatics and bread dough from Calypso barley. It’s a little less floral than our Chesapeake Pilsner, and a little sweeter than our original 6-Row Pilsner. Cumberland’s light color and subtle flavors work across a wide range of Lager styles.

Riverbend Malt House Publishes 2021 Year in Review

Riverbend Malt House is coming off of a record year in business that included significant production and footprint expansion, increased recycling and waste reduction, and a celebration of their last decade in the craft malt business, among other community milestones. Here is the Riverbend Malt House’s 2021 Year in Review.

Production 

In 2021, Riverbend Malt House added a 10-tonne Germination Kiln Vessel (GKV) unit to its production facility in June.

SevenFifty Daily: Supply-Chain Snafus Will Spotlight Domestic Malt

We caught up with Joshua Bernstein via SevenFifty Daily to make predictions for craft malt 2022.

Wine Enthusiast: Diversified Malt as a Focus for 2022
