Melanoidin Malt

This malt is crafted using our classic 6-row Thoroughbred barley. High kilning temperatures are applied over a 24-hour period to create a nicely toasted aroma and flavor with notes of black cherry and tobacco. These flavors can add depth and complexity to brown ales, imperial stouts, and dark lagers.
